Joseph N. Nusbaum was born in 1971 in West Palm Beach, FL. Joe, a Spanish speaking native of the South Florida area, graduated from high school in Miami Beach, and then went on to attend the University of Miami where he received his B.A. in 1993. Joe then spent one year as a middle school teacher before attending Nova Southeastern University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1997.

During his first year of law school, Joe did a clerkship at the Law Offices of Wolpe, Leibowitz, and Brotman. During his second year of law school, Joe spent the summer as a Certified Legal Intern at the Broward County State Attorney's office. There, Joe tried several Misdemeanor Jury Trials to verdict. In his last year of law school, Joe once again did a clerkship at the Law Offices of Marc C. Brotman, P.A. as a full time associate. As an associate, and now a partner, Joe specializes in matters dealing in Medical Malpractice, Auto Accidents, Faulty or Unsafe Products, Premises Liability, and Nursing Home Negligence.

While in law school, Joe was on the Dean's List and was a staff member on The Journal of International and Comparative Law.
