Marc C. Brotman was born in 1956 in Augsburg, Germany. Marc attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he received his B.G.S. degree in 1978. He next attended law school at Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he earned his J.D. in 1982.

In 1982, Marc joined the firm of Goodhart & Rosner where he was lead trial counsel in 25 jury trials. In 1983, he became an associate with the firm of Wolpe & Leibowitz, After becoming a partner in the firm, the firm became known as Wolpe, Leibowitz & Brotman. In 1996, Marc left that firm to establish his own firm which was known as Marc C. Brotman, P.A. In 1998, the firm named changed to Brotman & Nusbaum.

Mr, Brotman has been lead trial counsel in over 126 jury trials that have gone to verdict. These trials have been in matters dealing with medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, automobile accidents, and toxic torts.

In 1992, he became Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar. He has been a featured lecturer to fellow members of the Florida Bar in continuing legal education courses dealing with medical malpractice issues and automobile accident litigation matters. Marc has achieved the highest rating, "AV", by Martindale-Hubbell, which is an independent lawyer rating publication. Marc is a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Palm Beach, Broward and Dade County Bar Associations.
